Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Care for your aluminum doors and windows:
- Cleaning frames: Wipe down with a soft cloth and a mild solution of soap and water. Rinse with clean water and dry to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents, or pressure washing — these can damage the powder-coat finish.
- Cleaning glass: Standard glass cleaner on a microfiber cloth. Avoid spraying directly onto the frame edges.
- Hardware: Hinges, locks, and tracks benefit from a light silicone lubricant once a year. Avoid oil-based lubricants — they attract dust.
- Weatherstripping: Inspect annually for wear. Replacement strips available — contact us with your model and size.
- Tracks (sliding doors/windows): Vacuum debris quarterly. Wipe with damp cloth. Lubricate rollers if movement becomes stiff.
Routine care extends the life of your product and preserves warranty coverage.

About this size
A den at the back of the house gets its own exit instead of routing everyone through the kitchen — five feet wide, six foot eight tall.
- Good spots: dens and breakfast areas, plus any back room that currently has no door to the outside.
- How it opens: Two panels meet in the middle and swing on hinges. You choose which side the main panel — the one with the lock — sits on, and whether they swing inward or outward.
- Options: black or white, and four swing choices — hinged left or right, opening inward or outward, judged from outside looking in.
Also available in custom sizes and colors — quoted per order.
